Professional Angling Promotions was formed in 2005 by Professional Walleye Trail Pro Angler Jon Thelen. Jon has established this business through many media outlets in the past several years. Commonly seen on "Saturday Morning" television, Jon has appeared as a host or guest on over 50 outdoor television shows in the past three years. These shows include: "Midwest Outdoors", "O'Neill Outside", "Outdoorsmen Adventures", "People Who Fish", "Keith Warren's Hunting and Fishing Adventures" and "In-Fisherman PWT" Television.
Over the past six years Jon has also written or been the subject of over 60 articles published in various magazines including In-Fisherman, Walleye Insider, North American Fisherman, Game and Fish Publications (MN Sportsman), ESOX Angler, Fishing Facts, Midwest Outdoors and Outdoor News Publications. Since 2003 Jon has competed as a "Professional" on the Professional Walleye Trail. His accomplishments include 2 Top 10, 7-Top 25 and 11-Top 40 finishes in 23 PWT events and a "Coleman Cool Under Pressure" Award.
